The Next Wave of Utility Load Growth: Batteries, Data Centers and Grid Infrastructure
Roughly 52 GW of utility-scale battery storage is now operating in the U.S., and data centers are projected to consume 650 TWh a year by 2030. One is a fast-growing grid resource, the other a fast-growing grid load. Both require infrastructure.
